How to Generate Shipping Labels for Vendors

This article explains how you can generate shipping labels for your vendors.

As a Jetti user, you have the option to generate shipping labels for your vendors. Not only will this make the job of your vendors easier, but it also ensures that the labels they are using have your branding. This article will explain the two ways that these labels can be generated.

Vendor can generate labels themselves

The easiest option is for the vendors to generate the labels on their own, directly from the vendor portal.

How to do this:

  1. Click on the “Orders” - tab, and select the order they want to ship. This is where you can find the history and tracking of each item, and where you will be able to print shipping labels and packing slips
  2. Scroll down the page to the summary, edit the weight and dimensions if needed, or leave the defaults
  3. Click “Print shipping label”

Retailer can generate labels for a vendor to use

The second option is for the retailers to generate shipping labels from their Jetti app, and then they can email them over to the vendors. This may be useful, as admins are able to generate labels for any applicable rate.

How to do this:

  1. Go to “Sales” and click on “Dropship purchases”
  2. Click “Fulfillment” on the top of the page, and select “Shipped”
  3. Click on the print icon on the right-hand side of the selected order

Note: You can also track the delivery status of each item on the Sales - tab.

How to regenerate labels:

  1. Go to “Sales” and click on “Track”
  2. Select the order, and click on the three dots on top of the page. Click "Regenerate label"

Changing the Ship Form Address

In case the vendor has entered the wrong address, you can change this. Just go under Contacts and change the address under the Vendor settings. After you have done this, regenerate the label.

How can I track shipping costs from my vendors?

At the moment we can't track shipping cost data as it's not available in the vendor's platform for us to import. We can only fetch the tracking number, carrier, etc.

How to void a shipping label that was accidentally printed?

You can void a shipping label by going to Track under Sales, and clicking "Shipped" under the dropdown menu next to the order. Then click "Refund".

You can do this by enabling the setting "Include shipping label in packing slip" under __Contacts > Shipping. __
