Stripe is currently the gateway Jetti supports for payment flows. To setup payment methods for a reseller portal, you first need to connect Jetti to your own Stripe account.

This article will explain how different payment methods and price lists are used within the reseller portal.

Setting different payment types

When creating an order in the portal, there are two different ways to take payment. The first option is to take payment against the reseller’s credit card, which may be useful depending on the reseller’s setup and agreements with their customers. The second option is to take payment against the customer’s credit card. For this, ensure that their payment details have been setup.

If needed, the reseller can also manually override the payment details during checkout.

Creating and assigning price lists

Price lists are the buckets of price that can be assigned to each reseller or customer. For example, discounted price lists can be assigned to larger customers with more orders, while standard price without discounts can be assigned to smaller customers. It is only the admin that can apply price lists to both the resellers and customers. Therefore, should the resellers want to change the price lists, they would need to contact the admin to do so.

To assign a price list to a customer, the admin needs to select the customers from the customers list in Jetti, and click on Assign price list. Then, they just need to select the price list and assign. After doing so, any orders to those customers will be priced against the price list selected.

The same assignment flow works for resellers. The admin just chooses the resellect, and clicks on Assign price list at the top of the page.

If there is no price list set for a customer, Jetti will set it to the default price list. To learn more about where to create the different price lists, read this.
